Wellington Museum Low-Sensory Hour

Explore local treasures in a calm and quiet space

In association with Autism New Zealand, Wellington Museum hosts a low-sensory hour on the first Thursday of every month from 4 – 5pm

Note: The October Low-Sensory Hour takes place Thursday 7th, 9am, – 10am.

We welcome anyone who prefers a low-sensory environment including Autistic and neurodiverse people. It features reduced light and sound for a sensory-friendly experience.
