Te Ohonga x Memory Lines | Wellington Museum and City Gallery Wellington

This unforgettable programme develops understandings of mauri and whakapapa across two sites. Begin with a visit to Te Waka Huia o Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho Wellington Museum to explore the knowledges of ringatoi Māori from the Wellington region, and the life and warmth of taonga in Te Ohonga exhibition. Afterwards, at Te Whare Toi City Gallery Wellington, ākonga explore the Memory Lines exhibition. They use an inspiring mix of art media to connect Te Ao Māori with communities in Indonesia and India, and social sciences with visual arts.
