Ākonga use evidence to explore the beginning in Te Ao Māori and explain why the ‘Big Bang’ is a theory. They consider how stars are formed from material from the beginning of time, learn how to classify stars on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram, and find out what happens during the life of a star.
