He Whenua Tuku Iho | Guardians of the Land 

Years 5-13

Explore how the land can be a source of creativity, knowledge and wonder and consider our roles as kaitiaki. This hands-on learning experience deepens knowledge about the changing landscape of Te Whanganui-a-Tara and the effects of colonisation on te taiao and mana whenua. Designed as an alternative to or next step from our Te Upoko o te Ika programme, this thoughtful and engaging experience empowers ākonga to care for the whenua, protect ancestral knowledge and shape a brighter future.
