Wellington Museum
Historic grandeur on the waterfront
Wellington Museum is our largest venue, and can host up to 500 people. Choose from the historic von Kohorn room, Draughtsman’s Room, The Attic, Capital Room, the WH&ESA Room or the whole Museum for your guests to explore and mingle in.
Space Place
We can guarantee a starry sky!
At Space Place, we share the stories of our New Zealand skies through multimedia exhibits, interactive galleries, the historic Thomas Cooke telescope and our digital, full-dome planetarium. Only a five-minute trip from the CBD on Wellington’s iconic Cable Car, Space Place at Carter Observatory can accommodate up to 180 people. A planetarium show or telescope viewing (weather dependant) can be built into your booking by special arrangement.
