Description

Crafted from solid brass and copper, this ornate Vintage Brass Telescope Keyring is both functional and classic.

A great gift idea, this little trinket will ensure your keys are kept secure and close at hand, while also expressing your personality and interests. A knurled knob allows you to easily and securely add or remove keys from the ring.

The original nautical telescopes were crafted from leather and wood, often with brass fittings. As quality metal production increased, they later came to be produced in solid brass. The telescope depicted in this Vintage Brass Telescope Key Ring is something 18th century sailors would have used to spot approaching ships, enemy targets, and obstacles in the high seas.

  • Keyring measures approximately 12.5cm in length x 3.8cm width x 2.5cm height
  • Durable brass and copper construction
  • Easy to add or remove keys
  • Matching styles available, including compass, anchor and diving helmet keyrings

This product is also available for purchase in store at Wellington Museum.
