Natty Fantail Earrings
These gorgeous fantail earrings are made from recycled Rimu, sourced from old cabinetry and are hand-painted.
The posts are surgical steel, which is good for sensitive ears and they are approx. 14mm across.
They has also been sealed with varnish to help protect them, but are not designed to be worn in the shower or when swimming.
Known for their ‘cheet cheet’ calls and energetic flying antics, the aptly named fantail is one of the most common and widely distributed native birds in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Natty are a Wellington based design studio, consisting of Cat McKay and Fiona Gibb.
Their gorgeous range of recycled Rimu jewellery is inspired by the flora and fauna of Aotearoa.
