JFriend Cheese Pairing Honey Collection
JFriend Cheese Pairing Honey Collection originates from three of the most diverse regions of New Zealand, Butchers Dam in Central Otago, Muzzle Station in the Clarence Valley, and Ongahi on the Coromandel Penninsula.
Wild Thyme Honey is aromatic and pungently herbal. With a strong flavour profile it pairs perfectly with salty robust cheese such as feta or goats cheese.
Blue Borage honey is otherwise known as Vipers Bugloss. This honey is a delicious match for strongly flavoured cheese such as Stilton, aged Cheddar and Parmesan. Even the pungent washed rind cheese.
Kamahi Honey is different again with a buttery golden colour. Kamahi is an excellent match for white mould cheese such as Camembert and Brie. Or the even more robust varieties such as a goats milk Feta.
