This Cable Car Sunrise print features a stunning photograph of Wellington’s iconic Cable Car rattling up the hill at sunrise.
This Cable Car replaced the original Grip Car 1 that climbed Wellington’s hills from 1902. Grip car 1 gave passengers an exciting ride up Kelburn Hill. Imagine a 120 metre climb through two 100 metre long tunnels and over two bridges, sitting on the outside! These days Grip Car 1 can be found inside the Cable Car Museum after you take a ride on the new and improved Cable Car pictured above.
This A4 print recalls one of Wellingtons most well-known attractions. Backed by cardboard the print will make a safe journey home to be given either as a gift or kept for yourself to remember your time in Wellington.
