Sci Fi Sundays: Pride edition begins with a queer cult classic. Made for, by and about people who feel like outsiders, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is still celebrated and relevant today. Not just a movie, but an experience, we encourage you to bring your fishnets, do the Time Warp and sing along!
The satirical sci-fi follows a newly engaged couple (Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon) who breakdown in the middle of nowhere and stumble into the bizarre castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry).
6:30pm doors open, 7pm -9m, Sunday the 7th of March | Space Place | RM | 101 minutes | $20 per ticket including popcorn and confectionery
The health and safety of our visitors and staff is very important to us so we continue to follow Ministry of Health advice and guidelines around physical distancing, hygiene, visitor numbers and contact tracing. All visitors are asked to stay home if they are feeling unwell, to maintain physical distancing while in Wellington Museum and are required to complete contract tracing upon entering via the NZ COVID Tracer app or manually. We’ll continue to monitor advice from the Wellington City Council and Ministry of Health and will share updates here and on social media.
Continue to connect with us here and on social media where we’ll share any updates. Kia kaha.
