About our hosts:
Creatif Kate is well-known on the poetry, comedy, and cabaret circuits of Wellington and has won multiple awards. She’s a poet, producer, performer, photographer, preacher – basically, if it starts with ‘p’ she’s in. She’s filthy, flirty, and funny; sexy, saucy, and sensational; raunchy, ridiculous and ravishing. You won’t believe what comes out of her lips.
Cardinal BiCrikey’s status as an ordained priest has never been fully confirmed nor denied but there’s no doubt he loves to frock up, take confession, and dish out penance. Cardy, as he’s known outside clergy circles, enjoys mingling with the masses more than saying Mass. He needs frequent reminding of the ecclesiastical vows he may have taken, and has been known to argue that a few can’t possibly apply to him. “Poverty? You must be joking. How could I afford this hat?”
Queen Olivia Lucretia-Bourgeois Connie St Redfern III, one of New Zealand’s top 10 most Iconic Drag Queens, is a non-binary drag queen and performer based in Wellington. They have been featured in various media outlets, such as Canvas magazine, The Daily Blog, The Sapling, and Mad in Aotearoa. Queen Olivia has also hosted writers panels for NZ Writers Week and LitCrawl, as well as regularly participating in Rainbow Story Times at libraries across the Wellington region.
