NSC Preservation Society – Crafting Beer

April 24, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$12.00

Join Kerry Gray from Te Aro Brewing for an hands on session of crafting beer using herbs from our cottage garden.

This hands-on session will see you mashing in, extracting and boiling wort, adding yeast, hops and herbs and beginning the fermentation process for a delicious heritage ale.

Kerry Gray and fellow Te Aro Brewing founders started off as home brewers, before opening a home brew shop, eventually expanding into the business of brewing beers for discerning beer lovers. In keeping with their roots as home brewers, they publish most of their recipes, calling it ‘Open Sorcery’… and they’re bringing some of their sorcery to Nairn Street Cottage to help you discover the joys of home brewing too.

Participants will receive the recipe to replicate the brew.

Dont forget to pickup your Nairn Street Preservation Society Tote Bag while you’re there!

Bookings will be restricted to those aged 18 and over.
