May 21, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$12.00
Niarn Street Preservation Society

Knead, stretch prove and bake a traditional sourdough loaf of bread with the Nairn Street Preservation Society.

Discover that delicious, healthy, homemade bread isn’t hard to bake. In fact, making your daily bread is a relaxing and fun hobby that produces a loaf that’ll knock the socks off your loved ones. Breadmaker and Artist Simon Gray has been baking bread for the past 15 years, and he’s here to teach you the tricks of the trade to bake a delicious, chewy-crusted and densely aromatic loaf of sourdough bread. The workshop will introduce you to the transformative and fun aspects of a daily staple. After the session you’ll get to take home your own starter to nurture, so that you can continue baking delicious bread for years to come.  Breadmaking ingredients are included.

The Nairn Street Cottage Preservation Society offers hands-on sessions to pass on the knowledge and techniques of traditional skills.

Dont forget to pickup your Nairn Street Preservation Society Tote Bag while you’re there!
