Find out in this engaging talk by Professor Kevin Burns from Victoria University.

Learn about Darwin’s theory of evolution and his notion of ‘the survival of the fittest’ as it relates to New Zealand’s plant life. Professor Kevin Burns will explain the tremendous advances we’ve made in molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics.

Professor Kevin Burns is the Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor at Victoria University School of Biological Sciences and has a PHD in Biology from UCLA.

The talk will also include the planetarium show We Are Stars–which looks at how the universe was created and the Big Bang theory.
