A new exhibit commissioned as part of the Suffrage 125 Celebration.
A brilliant commentary on women’s contributions to society throughout Aotearoa’s history, this commissioned artwork by Genevieve Packer features textile-based silhouettes celebrating the achievements of 31 prominent New Zealand women set against the backdrop of the male-dominated realm of the Wellington Harbor Board. From record-breaking aviator Jean Batten, to civil rights leader Eva Rickard and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, learn about New Zealand women who have made an impact at home and abroad.
Proud to be a part of the Suffrage 125 national event programme in 2018.
