Sci Fi Sundays: Inner Space

Inner Space

A naval aviator get’s shrunk to microscopic size injected into a hypochondriac. What can go wrong? 27 January

Joe Dante directs this sci-fi romp that grafts a daft yet dazzling comic plot onto the glorious gimmick of 1966’s Fantastic Voyage, set in the otherworldliness of the human body. The little creatures this time are human – with Dennis Quaid incredibly shrunk down to size of an amoeba and injected into the bloodstream of lovable doofus Martin Short, while bad guys are hot on Quaid’s teeny tail.
