Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Wahine Disaster. 10 April
Wahine Day at Wellington Museum
In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Wahine Disaster, Wellington Museum will host a number of special events that will happen during the day – in rememberance of the people who lost their lives, as well as the survivors and first responders who were there fifty years ago. A special Wahine exhibition will be displayed in the Museum as well as talks, and we will be acknowledging the Wahine with bell ringing every half-hour.
